Crazy Causation

Kids are addicted to their phones because of the increased mosquito population. It’s no lie that kids nowadays are glued to their phones. Everywhere they go they have a screen in front of them at all times. But there is a very logical reason behind all of this. The mosquito population has rapidly increased over the last few years. With the growing population, kids don’t want to play outside because of their fear of bugs or mosquito bites. Parents also don’t want their kids to pick up any diseases like Yellow Fever and Zika that the mosquitoes might carry. So instead the kids stay inside. However, being inside all day can get utterly boring for kids. You can only play the same board game so many times before it starts getting old. Outside, kids had so many options for what to play. Basketball, four square, tag, the opportunities were endless. Knowing that kids were stuck inside, phone companies started adding games to their app stores. Kids now had thousands of games to play just at their fingertips. No need for parents to go out and buy a new game for the kids to play. Kids would just sit on the couch and play games like Candy Crush and Fortnite for hours. No need to worry about the pesky mosquitoes in the comfort of your own home. But the games kids are playing can start to get very addictive. They start to advance to different levels of their games, and the kids just can’t put the phone down until they finish one game and move onto the next level. These games also update every few months adding new characters and different challenges. Updates help the games stay up to date, and keep them from getting old and boring. Now kids are addicted to these phone games and play them all day long.

A dance class is like a thunderstorm

A dance class is like a thunderstorm. When I first get to a dance class we start out by doing a light warm up and stretch. You can’t go right into dancing because it increases your chances of getting hurt. Just like a thunderstorm, it starts out slow. Dark clouds close in, and the wind starts to pick up slightly. After we warm up for dance, we start our drills. Going across the floor we do exercises that are incorporated in our performance. This is like when it starts to rain. The winds get stronger but it’s not the heart of the storm. After drills my heart rate really picks up. This is when we perform our dance all the way through, full out. My teacher makes us dance it over and over until we get it perfect. The sound of our taps get so loud that you can’t hear the music you are dancing too. This is the heart of the storm. Rain starts pounding down on the rooftops, lightning cracks across the sky, and the thunder roars. It’s intense and loud. But then the rain starts to lighten up and the thunder starts to fade. The grey sky clears and sometimes even a rainbow appears. This is the cool down at class. We go over any last corrections and then pack up to go home. Most of the time when I leave class i’m tired and sore. But sometimes after a great class I feel accomplished and happy. That is my rainbow.

Would you want to be lost in the jungle with Kim Kardashian?

Kim Kardashian is a world-famous reality T.V star. She has over 127 Million Instagram followers and has a net worth of $350 million. But regardless of that, would you want to be lost in the jungle with her? No! I am a huge fan of Kim K. fan but I don’t think myself or anyone else would be able to stand her lost in the jungle after a few days. For instance, Kim is the kind of girl that will complain about everything. Once during an episode of “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” she lost a pair of diamond earrings in the ocean and would not stop crying. If Kim gets that upset over earrings, just imagine how upset she would be lost in a jungle with no phone, and no internet access.

Kim grew up in a material world. Living in Beverly Hills, she has become used to people catering to her every need. Since 2007 she has had a camera crew, and makeup artist following her around 24/7. But when you are lost in the jungle, there is no one there to help you. No personal chef or bodyguard. Six-inch heels and a cute selfie won’t save the day. It’s just you vs nature.

Because she is so famous, many people are bound to be searching for you. But it could takes hours to even days before someone finds and rescues you both. So would you want to be lost in the jungle with her?
